This program is centered around a Challenge (Ropes) Course, which is a combination of team
building activities. These experiential learning opportunities includes several cooperative activities to help teens develop their self-confidence,
communication, decision making, and team-building skills.
Our “hands on” method utilizes a blend of instruction, activity, games and discussion, uniquely
woven to empower and build highly efficient father-son teams. With a unique combination
of classroom formation and outdoor activities, there’s sure to be a lifetime of incredible memories
for you and your son.
WHY THIS IS WORTH THE TIME AND MONEY:
Teens are continually bombarded by media that contrary to their Catholic Faith. If sons do not
learn from their father about what it means to be a real man, they will learn a message contrary to
their dignity. Sadly, many fathers often find discussing growing up a great challenge.
The Catechism of the Catholic Church (#1653) teaches that “Parents are the principal and first
educators of their children.” This means that just by being a father, dads have the ability to educate
their sons about the truth of sexual morality. The purpose of the these programs is not to take away
this right to educate, but to empower fathers with a common language to dialogue with their son
about these important issues.
In our culture that has lost perspective about the truth of love and life, it is critical that fathers take
up their role as the primary formators for their sons. They want to know they have the strength
and ability to thrive in this world. By using the wisdom imparted at our Father-Son Programs, Fathers
will empower and equip their sons for any challenge that may come their way.
